Dream Seniors Center Provide older immigrants from Africa who because of their age, physical condition and cultural barriers have no means of income. These individuals depend on the support of relatives, and charities and lad a life of social solitude that makes them vulnerable to mental and physical deterioration.
Build the chain of love for Vulnerable Seniors
Organized and run by D.R.E.A.M Ethiopian consortium , the seniors center currently serves over fifty six immigrant seniors ,98 % of whom are not employable ,lacks social service benefits, or means of income. DREAM Ethiopian consortium aims to serve as seniors resource mobilization and sharing platform with other seniors’ social organizations in DMV area. It will also collaborate with state and county agencies as well as religious institutions that have senior services provisions in the Washington metropolitan area.
