The mission and the purpose of the Diaspora Resources of Ethiopians in the America Metropolises (DREAM Ethiopia) is to Promote, Coordinate and Advocate integration of resources and skill for the advancement of Culture, Education, Entrepreneurship, Civic engagement, Science and Social Service programs throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. The consortium will serve as resource for most existing Ethiopian diaspora professional initiatives operating throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area. It also stands to serve as a model for a wider coordination of an Ethiopian community in North America.
